Doing the Work
When life throws me curveballs, it’s always been helpful to me to get to work.
It’s not about pretending your problems don’t exist and it’s not about being a workaholic. It’s about putting one foot in front of the other.
Because what other choice do I have?
I suppose I can sulk or sit around and be depressed. But pain isn’t a good cure for pain, so that’s not helpful.
The solution for me is to get back to work. Simply work.
No more no less.
Whatever is right in front of me, I will do that. Then I will accomplish it and then I will do the next thing.
