I'm no longer listening to other people talk negative about agencies
If you spend enough time in entrepreneurial circles, you will inevitably start to hear about the success of your contemporaries.
Although I know not to compare myself to others, it’s only natural that over time, I observe the success of other people and start to compare my success to theirs.
It’s a terrible trap, because no matter how well you are doing, you can always find someone else who is doing better than you.
I have always felt this way about agency work. Client services work is perceived to be unsexy, boring, and “uncool.” A lot of people shy away from client service work because dealing with clients can be so difficult. But I’ve never felt that way about it. I thoroughly enjoy working with my team to serve clients. I love the sales calls and I love building the network of business owners who appreciate my work and my company.
This year I am truly doubling down on the work I enjoy.
