Finding Muay Thai has been a huge blessing in my life. This may be a shock to you, but I’ve always had insecurities about my body. When I got sober, I channeled that obsessive part of myself into fitness. I’d run every night. Obsessively do burpees and pull ups at the tennis court and drive myself into the ground. I’d lift 4 - 5 times a week. I was very fit and healthy, but I was always uncomfortable.
