Keeping It Moving

Most people who follow me know that I am passionate about health and fitness. For whatever reason, I didn’t keep up with my standard fitness routines this week, I can already feel the difference.

Fitness is like pushing a boulder. Once you get momentum, pushing the giant boulder is easy, it’s one push after the other. But as soon as you stop pushing, the boulder stops and you have to build up the energy to get it rolling again.

Getting into motion takes more energy than staying in motion.

My back feels stiff, my neck feels stiff and I’m generally feeling a bit “blah.”

It’s Sunday, so I’ll be sure to get in a good walk today. Next week, I’ll be more mindful of getting to my workouts done in the morning. I find that my mind and my life functions better when I do my workouts first thing.
